22nd SS CAVALRY DIVISION "MARIA THERESA"

Ukrainians contributed a whole Flak platoon to this division. The Flak platoon in the "Maria Theresa" division was caught up in the Budapest encirclement and literally wiped out to a man in that tragic battle. No survivors were reported from this contingent after the breakout effort on 11/11 February 1945.
